Bar and Bat Mitzvah
The Bar and Bat Mitzvah are significant milestones in Jewish life, marking the coming of age for boys and girls, tradtionally at the age of 13 for boys and 12 for girls (but age is extremely indicative, depending on maturity). This transition signifies their new responsibilities as Jews and their full participation in community and religious life. The ceremony involves the young person reading some Torah passages and reciting some prayers and blessings, demonstrates his/her learning and commitment to Judaism. This rite of passage not only strengthens individual identity but also fosters a sense of belonging within the Jewish community. As such, the Bar and Bat Mitzvah serve as vital foundations for the future of Judaism, encouraging the next generation to engage with their heritage, uphold traditions, and contribute to the continuity of Jewish life.
Rabbi Haim, with his tremendous teaching experience, can train the Bar/Bat Mitzvah by distance learning, or he can collaborate with a tutor located in the family's place of residence and organize a memorable Bar/Bat Mizvah ceremony in Italy or elsewhere, which will be a unique spiritual experience for the young person and the entire family.
