Weddings in Italy and all over the world

Jewish Wedding in Italy - lake Como

Lake Como

A wedding is not only a traditional rite, it is also a moment of intense Jewish spirituality shared among the bride and groom, their families, and all guests, a unique time to touch the hearts and minds of the most important people in your lives.
I have performed hundreds of weddings in Italy and around the world.

I am, of course, available to celebrate your wedding all over Italy or elsewhere, and I can also help you organize it if you have that need.
Placing the couple at the center of my vision, I will work with you in order to build your ceremony, reflecting your beliefs and feelings, because every couple is unique, so every wedding is unique.

I’m used to work with English-speaking couples, generally from US. My English is fluent.
My traditional background combined with my long work within the Reform and Conservative Jewish movements allows me considerable flexibility in constructing ceremonies tailored to different needs and backgrounds, harmonizing ancient traditions with creative ideas, honoring the heritage and culture of different families and groups.

Jewish Wedding in val d' Orcia

Val d'Orcia - Tuscany

Jewish Wedding in Italy - ring exchange

My ceremonies are entirely chanted in the Italian Jewish tradition. Main language is Hebrew, but I add English (or other required languages) translations of short sections of the ritual, and I like to introduce some brief explanations in such a way that anyone, including non-Jewish guests and family members, can easily follow the ceremony.

Testimonials

Rabbi Haim provided the most wonderful experience for our wedding. He was flexible in combining tradition with modern preferences and made us feel so comfortable under the chuppah. We could not recommend Rabbi Haim more highly - his presence was such a blessing.

We are so grateful to have had Rabbi Haim officiate our wedding ceremony! From our first meeting, he was accommodating and communicative, making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way and was so helpful ensuring the Ketubah was filled out properly. He was open to our ideas and flexible with the style of ceremony we wanted and which religious aspects we wanted to incorporate. He tailored the ceremony to reflect our relationship and values, which made it feel personal and meaningful. We are thankful to have had Rabbi Haim officiate this special day!

Not only did he create an incredible atmosphere on the day of, but he was available to answer all our questions leading up to the big day (via call, via WhatsApp) and was always contributing a very thorough view when it comes to Halakhik rituals and principles before and around the ceremony. Rav Haim allowed our guests to experience the beauty and depth of our traditions with an unforgettable Jewish ceremony, where every moment celebrated life, faith, and community

Rav Haim guided us throughout the entire ritual with words of wisdom and encouragement, deeply reflecting on the significance of our union. A particularly moving moment was the Sheva Brachot, made even more intense and profound by his chants, which accompanied the ceremony with touching solemnity
We are deeply grateful to Rav Haim for the crucial role he played in this unforgettable moment of our lives. With great skill, he succeeded in conveying our ancient traditions in a modern light, bringing hope and unity during a particularly challenging time for our community.

Rabbi Cipriani has been an absolute blessing to our family. For our destination wedding in Italy, my wife and I had a hard time figuring out who could marry us, as my wife was not Jewish at the time, while honoring our vision for a Jewish ceremony aligned with our values and my personal conservative upbringing. Once we connected with Rabbi Cipriani, we felt immediately at ease. He approached every conversation with a joyfulness, but also a deep respect for our desires. His thoughtful approach extended beyond the ceremonies themselves, as he provided guidance and support every step of the way - from the ceremony flow, the ketubah text, and all the necessary logistics. My wedding planner was so impressed by his balance of professionalism and celebration, she remarked at one point, “he’s so cool!” Fast forward six years later and my brother was now planning his destination wedding in Greece and found himself in the same situation - interfaith couple, different country, challenge finding a rabbi or officiant. Following our wonderful experience, I recommended Rabbi Cipriani and was thrilled that he could also lead their ceremony and it was absolutely magical. If you’re looking for a rabbi to lead a destination wedding ceremony, look no further. His expertise and ease of collaboration, combined with his genuine care and compassion, made a tremendous impact for my family, making two of our most special days even more significant.
